A PRM PROJECT

EXPERTISE AND CONTROL FROM BEGINNING TO END

After a “PRM EXPERIENCE”, our clients are able to make the specific decisions that inspired the project and, moreover, to face their subsequent decisions with a thorough and objective knowledge of their market.

THE 5 KEY ASPECTS OF A PRM PROJECT:

01

Under the direction of one of our partners, the 5 stages of each project are conducted by the same team of consultants because this is the only way to ensure total coherence and continuity throughout the project.

02

All ours consultants, besides having the skills which are common to consultants of any business area, are specialists in MARKET INTELLIGENCE.

03

Expertise & Quality control in each of the 5 stages of the project, to ensure rigorous results and, based on them, conclusions that are an accurate reflection of reality.

04

Business vision to maximize the added value of the project for our clients.

05

We invite our clients to actively participate in the research process, since the experience and know-how of their business are essential in order to maximize the final value of the project.

THE 5 STAGES OF A PRM PROJECT:

STAGE I

FORMULATION OF THE PROBLEM TO BE STUDIED

STAGE II

RESEARCH DESIGN

STAGE III

INFORMATION COLLECTION

STAGE IV

INFORMATION ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS

STAGE V

REPORT OF RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS

FORMULATION OF THE PROBLEM TO BE STUDIED

A PROBLEM WELL-DEFINED IS A PROBLEM PRACTICALLY SOLVED

In Stage I of the project, the PRM team defines the objectives to be pursued by the research, the information that will have to be obtained to meet them and “who” this information has to be obtained about.

To this end, the PRM team:

Is in constant liaison with the clients to understand their needs and the context of their business.

Analyses all sources of information clients may already have and that may have some utility for the research, with the purpose of optimizing the definition of the problem to study.

Translates clients’ needs into a research problem, defining the information to be obtained and the population to be studied.

RESEARCH DESIGN

THERE ARE NO TWO IDENTICAL NEEDS OR TWO IDENTICAL SOLUTIONS

In Stage II of the project, the PRM team makes a tailored MARKET INTELLIGENCE design that ensures the efficient and accurate coverage of all the research objectives fixed in Stage I.

To this end, the PRM team:

Studies and decides what information collection technique or combination of techniques are the most appropriate to fulfil the research objectives.

Designs the most appropriate information collection tools for each of the techniques decided to be used.

Decides and designs the sampling plan of the research, ensuring both the representativeness of the sample and its appropriate size (neither too large, so that it does not involve any unnecessary costs for our clients, nor too reduced, so that it does not put at risk the coverage of the research objectives with the level of detail and accuracy required).

INFORMATION COLLECTION

IF WE DO NOT HAVE HIGH QUALITY RAW MATERIAL, NOT EVEN THE BEST METHODOLOGIES WILL LET US KNOW REALITY

In Stage III of the project, the PRM team manages, controls and supervises fieldwork to guarantee the quality of the information obtained in this stage, since it will be the basis of all the analytical processes and conclusions of the research.

To this end, the PRM team:

Selects the most appropriate company or companies to carry out the fieldwork in each country, taking into account both those companies PRM has had a positive experience with and those that collaborate with the client on a regular basis.

Keeps continuous control of the correct development of fieldwork: in the training of interviewers, in the pace of running the interview, in solving problems that may arise throughout the fieldwork,…

Supervises, using its own methodologies, the quality of the information collected by the company chosen (besides the normal quality controls the company itself usually applies).

INFORMATION ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS

RIGOROUS AND TAILORED ANALYSIS TO TRANSFORM DATA INTO DECISION-ORIENTED INFORMATION

In Stage IV of the project, the PRM team exploits the information obtained in the previous stage, using tailored analysis techniques and methodologies, with the purpose of giving an answer to each and every objective of the research.

To this end, the PRM team:

Designs and conducts a sample weighting process to ensure that the results obtained are representative and can be extrapolated to the whole population studied.

Designs the analysis plan, choosing the most appropriate analysis techniques for each case among the existing ones (univariate, bivariate and multivariate techniques*) and also developing tailored methodologies.

Executes the analytical techniques and methodologies strictly and accurately taking into account the results gradually obtained in order to open up new paths of analysis based on them.

Interprets the results obtained together with the client, looking jointly for solutions that meet a double requirement: providing statistical quality and being operative for the client.

REPORT OF RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS

BEYOND DATA TABLES: THE ROAD MAP

In Stage V of the project, the PRM team structures, designs and creates a report which contains the main results and conclusions of the research and, besides, becomes an essential tool for clients when making decisions.

To this end, the PRM team:

Structures, designs and creates the report of main results and conclusions of the research based on the results that have been obtained.

Discusses with the client partial versions of the report as it is being produced, to ensure that the final version meets all the objectives and is structured in an operative way for the client.

Presents the main results and conclusions of the research included in the final version of the report to the client in the presentation meetings they deem necessary.

After the project is closed, the PRM team continues to give support to the client in any additional need that can be analysed from the database of the project (whether it is about needs which are directly related with the objectives of the research or about new needs).
